LogicBoxes (www.logicboxes.com), supplier of software professional registrar, announced it has signed an agreement with the hosting provider HostGator (www.hostgator.com). It will use the software LogicBoxes to finally launch its registrar business.
This is a significant step forward for HostGator, which provides services reseller hosting since 2002. The company manages over 1.3 million domains on its name servers, according to statistics from DomainTools. HostGator is ICANN accredited through our partnership with eNom, allowing the company to register domains as a reseller. Using the software LogicBoxes registrar enable HostGator to move from a reseller status to a status of legitimate registrar. LogicBoxes has successfully helped many hosting providers to develop a desktop activity recording without having to deal with regulatory issues and techniques.
The company recording software offers over 50 top level domains and currently hosts more than 75 hosts accredited by ICANN. The transition from HostGator Reseller registrar should take place in early 2011. The hosting provider also confirmed that migration, which is treated in consultation with LogicBoxes will be totally transparent and have no impact on existing customers and resellers.
